INTRODUCTION TO QURAN (PART-10):
NAMES AND ATTRIBUTES OF THE QUR'AN:
There is a special sweetness in the Qur'an
"Divine Music". A professor of phonetics in Lahore at
Punjab University, He says that I can prove that all
the sound principles in the world today are a great science in their place.
From this I can prove that the highest music is the Quran. Therefore, it has been emphasized to recite the Holy Quran in the
best possible voice.
"Embellish the
Qur'an with your voices"
And another place has come,
"He who does not
try to read the Qur'an in the best way is not one of us."
There have been similar incidents. Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) He had a
very good voice, so one day the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was on a
patrol somewhere at night. When Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) passed by, near the house of Abu Musa, Abu Musa was reciting the Qur’an in
the night prayer So the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stood there for a
long time and listened.
Obviously, what were the houses like then?
There used to be a tent. There weren't
many canal houses that didn't know what was going on. When Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to pass by the house of
Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), they used to listen to the
recitation of Abu Bakr and when Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to pass by
the house of Hazrat Omar (may Allah be pleased with him), they used to listen
to the recitation of Omar, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased
with him) used to recite aloud. Hazrat Abu Bakr used to recite in a very low
voice. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked: Why
do you do that? Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased
with him) said: I recite aloud so that the devil may run away. Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I recite in a
low voice because i am talking toGod and God listen God does not need a loud
voice. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:Abu
Bakr, raise your voice a little, and Omar lower your Voice a little. In any case, this was the case with the Companions of the Holy
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
When Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard the
recitation of Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), the
next day when the meeting took place during the morning prayer, he (peace be
upon him) said:O Abu Musa, Allah has given you one of the instruments of the
instrument of Dawood (peace be upon him).
That is, the instrument that was in the throat
of Hazrat Dawood (peace be upon him) was cheerful, his voice was very
beautiful, in the same way the voice of Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased
with him) was also sweet.
QURAN AND ARABIC LANGUAGE:
One last thing to note is that the Qur'an has
done the greatest favor to the Arabic language. It is like a pillar; the Qur'an
has strengthened the Arabic language. Even today in the whole world what the
Arabs call "Fasi" language. It is the same, It belongs to the Qur'an.
Languages keep changing. When Urdu started in Deccan three
hundred years ago, you can't even read it today. Urdu
has changed many forms and today Urdu is in a different form. Persian has been in many forms. Many forms of
English have changed. But there has been no change in
Arabic. For this, it is mentioned in the Quran that:
We buried the
mountains in the earth to stabilize it.
So, the way these mountains keep the earth
stable in the same way, the Qur'an has strengthened the Arabic language.
Which has created a Pause and freeze within it, this is one of the
greatest favors of the Quran.
